Prototype to Production

From v0 to a real product.

Your v0 on Lovable, Bolt, or Replit works. It isn’t ready for real users, a security audit, or a second engineer reading the code.

AI got you to a working demo fast. What’s underneath still needs engineering. Auth. Security. Database. Infrastructure. Tests. Documentation. It’s a demo, not a foundation. We make it one.

The engagementSix to eight weeks. Fixed scope, fixed timeline, fixed price.Start with an audit
The engagement, itemised

You get.

  • Auth and security review, done properly.

  • A production database, migrated off the prototype, with real schema and indexes.

  • Infrastructure in your cloud, cost-designed for real usage.

  • Tests and monitoring so changes don’t silently break.

  • Code in your repo, documented for another engineer to pick up.

  • A recorded walkthrough so your team can maintain what we shipped.

You skip.

  • Six-month rewrites and “modernisation” workshops.

  • Frameworks nobody on your team knows.

  • Thirty npm packages when five would do.

  • Retainers for changes your team should own.

  • Sales calls with “solution architects”.

What the rebuild covers.

Three deliverables. Every engagement ends with all three shipped, or with a written reason we cut one.

The rebuild.

Auth, session management, security and privacy review. The database moved off the prototype, with real schema, indexes, and migrations. Business logic refactored so it doesn’t sit inside the UI. Tests for the parts that matter.

The infrastructure.

Deployed in your cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), on a stack your team can operate. Monitoring, error tracking, and log aggregation wired up. Cost designed for real usage, not free-tier. Backups, rollbacks, and CI so shipping doesn’t feel dangerous.

The handover.

Code in your repo, infrastructure in your account, no vendor lock-in. Documentation for another engineer to open the repo and know what to do. A recorded walkthrough so your team can maintain what we shipped. Or we keep operating on a separate scope.

How the eight weeks run.

  1. Week 1

    Audit

We open the repo. You get a plan.

We read the code, run it, walk your user flows, and map what needs rebuilding. You get an audit document with the scope, the risks, and a fixed price for the next six to seven weeks. If the answer is a rewrite from scratch, we tell you and quote separately.

  2. Weeks 2 to 4

    Rebuild

    Auth, database, business logic.

The parts the prototype hacked together, done properly. Migrations run cleanly. Auth passes review. Business logic sits where it belongs. Weekly demos, so you see it come together along the way.

  3. Weeks 5 to 6

    Infrastructure

    Cloud, monitoring, CI.

Deployed in your account. Monitoring and error tracking wired to your team. CI so future changes ship safely. Cost tuned for the traffic you expect.

  4. Weeks 7 to 8

    Handover

    Documentation, walkthrough, keys.

Documentation written for the next engineer. Recorded walkthrough for your team. DNS handover, keys migrated to your account. Or we keep operating, on a separate scope. Your call.

Three ways to run it.

Fixed price at every tier. The Week 1 audit tells you which one fits, before you commit to a build.

Validation rebuild$10k to $20k4 to 6 weeks

A v0 that needs to hold ten to a hundred paying users. Auth, one core workflow, production database, deployed in your cloud.

Standard production build$20k to $40k6 to 8 weeks

A v0 that needs to hold a thousand users, pass a security review, and be maintained by a small team. Auth, full application, tests, CI, monitoring, documentation.

Advanced$40k and up8 to 12 weeks

Multiple products, multi-tenant architecture, compliance work (SOC 2, HIPAA), or LW-operated infrastructure post-handover.

Questions.

Things people actually ask.

  • What stacks do you work with?

Anything mainstream. Next.js, React, Node, Python, Django, FastAPI, Postgres, and the equivalents. If your prototype is on something niche, we audit before we scope.

  • What if the code needs a full rewrite?

Sometimes it does. We tell you in the Week 1 audit, before you commit. A rewrite is scoped as a fresh build, not a rescue.

  • Can we keep Supabase, Firebase, or Vercel?

Yes, if it fits. We flag where a managed service stops being cost-effective at scale, so you can decide.

  • Do you write tests?

For the parts that matter: auth, payments, business logic. Not 100% coverage. Coverage isn’t the goal. Safety is.

  • What if we already have engineers?

We build alongside them. They own the codebase after handover, so they should be in the loop from day one.

  • What about compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)?

Yes. Compliance work adds scope and time to the build, and it’s called out in the audit. We’ve shipped inside all three frameworks.

Tell us what you're trying to move.

One honest hour on your code.

You name the thing: the prototype breaking under real users, the security review you can't pass, the codebase a second engineer can't pick up.

We tell you what's rebuildable, what needs a rewrite, and what it costs.

Then you decide.
